A slapstick horror short story.
I wanted them to run the mother roach over!!! This was great fun. Brilliant work.
This line: One crawled into my eye, lapping at my eye juices with its rough, paddle-like mandibles.
Damn.
Thank you for reading. I'm really you enjoyed the piece.
Yeah getting your eye juices lapped up the some paddle-like mandibles would be pretty uncomfortable.
To say the least! Haha
If you feel like it I would love to see what you think of my story for the event: The Black Dot In The Sky Follows.
Loved it. Great fun
Thank you for reading 🙏
I'm really glad you enjoyed it.
This was immense fun! I especially liked this part:
"The mother roach rolled over and rushed after me. One end of the broom handle protruded from its mouth, the other from the back of its head."
Reminds me of the scene in Arachnophobia where the flaming spider (that DEFINITELY should've been dead already) jumps out at them.
Thank you for reading. I'm really glad you enjoyed the piece.
Yeah, given the ability of roaches to survive without a head, I felt like I needed to include something like that.
I haven't seen Arachnophobia. Flaming spiders sounds like a good time though. Maybe I'll do something with spiders in my next piece.
That was superb and I enjoyed every line of it. Now I am hoping this is just the prelude at the beginning of the cool movie. I would definitely watch that one.
Thank you for reading. I'm really glad you enjoyed it.
Better keep an eye out at the movie theater. You never know what might pop up.
I literally read this with one eye closed. 🫣
Gotta keep them safe from those roaches!
Thank you for reading Leanne. Your support is always really appreciated🙏
Horrifying! Very nicely executed.
I'm glad you enjoyed the piece. Thank you so much for reading, I really appreciate it 🙏
